About

I am a Berlin-based professional dance artist – performer, teacher and choreographer.  My portfolio includes contemporary dance, physical and visual theatre, dance films and art installations, as well as Argentine tango. I take inspiration from other art forms and life itself, and my work tends to be ‘multi-media’… I like mixing – different forms of dance, visual art, film. I always look for opportunities to collaborate with dancers of different movement cultures as well as visual artists – film-makers, graphic designers and painters.

I started learning dance at the age of 5 as a figure skater in my native Kiev.  I studied ballet, various forms of folklore and Argentine tango. I have lived in four countries. London had been my home for more than 15 years, and it’s there that I discovered contemporary dance. I am a LABAN graduate and ‘contemporary’ approach is now part of everything I do. I belive dance has a wider place in the society and creativity can bring happiness. That’s why I spend most of my life in various studios and creative spaces around the world –  choreographing, performing, learning or helping others to learn.
